Mission
Mission: To positively impact global health by promoting wellness education and increasing access to acupuncture in under served communities. Our vision is simple. We believe we can affect global health in our lifetime with innovative approaches to raising awareness about wellness and increasing access to acupuncture. Ways that inspire personal involvement in health, empower communities & increase quality of life.
Who We Are
One World Health Project is a non-profit organization established to provide wellness education and acupuncture to under served communities. Founded in 2009 by dedicated Oriental Medical students who united around the vision of creating sustainable outreach programs both locally and globally. They have joined forces to raise awareness about wellness practices and funds to support impactful, sustainable outreach programs.
What We Do
We believe we can affect global health with innovative approaches to raising awareness about wellness and increasing access to acupuncture. OWHP aims to reach communities not only in far-away places, but right here on our own soil, as many populations do not have access to this time-tested and effective method of treatment. OWHP is an organization that identifies these populations and develops sustainable programs to increase access and improve global health.
